New Heights is my first ever teaching assignment and I am so excited to have this wonderful opportunity to teach social studies! Two years ago I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UW-Eau Claire (2020). In this same year, I got married AND started graduate school. This upcoming December I will earn a Master of Science in Teaching from The College of St. Scholastica.
During my undergraduate experience I studied abroad at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England, and as a Resident Assistant I was proud to be nicknamed "Sheriff Sofie" and the name has stuck ever since!
When I'm not in the classroom I enjoy knitting, cooking, shopping and spending time with family.
